3Doodler toy kits enable children to create robotic insects and dinosaurs
The 3Doodler project this year will be 5 years old. For those who hear about it for the first time: it is a unique and at the same time a simple hybrid of a conventional fountain pen with a 3D printer where the function of printing ink is performed by special plastic in the form of sets of multi-colored rods that melt at low temperature.
The rod is inserted into the hole in the back of the handle and the heating is turned on. A minute later, in a softened form, it begins to go outside, and then everything depends on the imagination of the user.
With the help of 3Doodler, you can “draw” the most diverse parts and create more complex products from them. The plastic solidifies in 3-5 seconds. Thanks to the built-in battery, the device is completely autonomous. One charge lasts for an hour of continuous operation.
The latest version of 3Doodler – the three-dimensional handle “Start” helps children who already have experience with it to move to the next level. With its help, children can create insects and dinosaurs from separate parts – legs and bodies. In the assembled form, these toys can move.
